We operate the website www.essentialoilsbible.com.

 

In order to provide our services, sell products and operate our website, we process some personal data.

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

  1. In case of a request using the contact form or in another way: This is processing on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR – contract negotiation, or implementation of pre-contractual measures at your request.
  2. In case of purchase of products or services: This is processing on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR – fulfillment of the contract and Article 6 paragraph 1 letter c) GDPR – fulfillment of our legal obligation.
  3. In the case of newsletters (commercial communications): Section 7, paragraph 3 of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services allows us to do this, if you did not prohibit us from doing so during the purchase.

 

III. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, contractors, or subcontractors as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.

We may disclose your personal information:

  3. In the case of newsletters, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time during the retention period of personal data through a button in any e-mail or by expressing this intention to e-mail:support@essentialoilsbible.com.
  4. Notwithstanding any other provision of this section we will retain documents (including electronic ones) containing personal data
    1. to the extent we are required to do so by law;
    2. if we believe the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or future legal proceedings; and
    3. to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others to prevent fraud and reduce credit risk).

 

VI. Security of your personal information

  1. We will take reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal data.
  2. We store all personal data you provide on secure AWS servers (password and firewall protected).
  3. All electronic financial transactions entered through our website will be processed through the payment gateway of Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, which provides secure technology for accepting payment cards and online bank transfers. You enter payment card numbers, credit cards and e-banking passwords using the secure and trusted channel of Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. This data is not shared with us by the said company and we do not have access to it.
  4. When storing and processing personal data, we use the services of some companies that get access to the data because they help us provide products and services. They are:

  1. You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the Internet is inherently insecure and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the Internet.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password you use to access our website; we will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to our website).

You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
