Wintergreen is made by steam distillation of Wintergreen leaves. It comes from the mountains in Nepal. Its penetrating aroma soothes and encourages.
It can be used for:
* Joint and muscle pain, rheumatism, arthritis, carpal tunnel: to affected areas.
* Bone injuries, bone growths: to affected areas.
* Muscle cramps, digestive system: in specific places.
* Respiratory problems, congestion, loosening of mucous membranes, asthma, cough: apply to the chest.
* Skin injuries, snake bites, insect bites, infected wounds: to the specific places.
* Dermatitis: to the affected area.
* Dandruff, hair loss: massage into the scalp.
Other uses:
This oil can help with acne, infection and inflammation of the bladder, swelling, eczema, edema, temperature reduction, gallstones, gout, infection, reduction of joint problems, kidney stones, drainage and cleansing of the lymphatic system, obesity, osteoporosis, skin diseases, ulcers and disorders of the urinary tract. It is known for its ability to relieve bone pain. Due to its high content of salicylate methyl, its activity is similar to cortisone.
