Skin abscess
Ailment overview
Description
The abscess (tubers) is a cavity bounded by a membrane and filled with pus. It is a localized form of inflammation that can be found anywhere in the body. Inflammation can be painful and after perforation into the body cavity it can cause a life-threatening septic condition which is manifested by excessive activation of inflammatory mechanisms. If the abscess empties on the surface of the body by perforating the skin, we are talking about skin abscesses, ulcers, boils. Boils are a skin infection that arise in the hair follicle or fat gland. The ulcer is an open sedation on the skin or internal mucous membrane.
