Description

Cluster headaches are one of the most serious headaches. The name comes from the fact that there are repeated frequent attacks or “cluster periods”. Attacks can be 2 or 3 times a day and can last for several weeks or even months. Then they can go away for months or years. They often start in the middle of the night or in sleep. Pain is usually on one side or the other side of the head and usually directly behind the eye. The pain is intense, constant, and pulsating, making it almost impossible to function normally.
