Description

Essential oils can also be used to make a wide range of cleaning products, including washing powders or liquid washing gel. You can make a great washing gel for your laundry at home. It is much more environmentally friendly and cheaper than regular washing gels from the store. Plus, with essential oils, you can create the fragrance you want.

According to this recipe, you will produce approximately 2 liters of washing gel suitable for normal washing of colored and white laundry. It is advisable to add baking soda when washing white laundry. It is not meant to be used on textiles of animal origin as washing soda causes swelling of the fibers.

We recommend making a small amount for a trial. If it suits you, you can produce several liters at once as the gel will last for several months.

There are two possible preparation procedures. The second procedure is more complex and time-consuming but results in a more homogeneous mixture that is better for washing at low temperatures.

Please note:

Do not use on textiles of animal origin.
